Please read this disclaimer carefully before participating in any Tai Chi or Qigong classes offered by Daciana Indolean. By attending and participating in these classes, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms of this disclaimer.

Important information

Daciana Indolean is a fully insured and qualified practitioner of traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture and medical massage, Qigong, Tai Chi and Mindfulness.

General Disclaimer

Tai Chi and Qigong are gentle forms of exercise that involve physical movements, stretching, and mindful breathing. While generally considered safe, there are inherent risks associated with any physical activity. By participating in these classes, you acknowledge and accept these risks.

Health and Physical Condition

  • It is your responsibility to ensure that you are in adequate physical and mental health to participate in Tai Chi and Qigong classes.
  • If you have any pre-existing medical conditions, injuries, disabilities, or are pregnant, it is essential that you consult with your primary healthcare physician or other qualified medical professional before starting or continuing these classes.
  • Inform the instructor, Daciana Indolean, of any health concerns or limitations you may have before the start of each class. This will allow for modifications to be suggested, if appropriate.
  • The instructor is not a medical professional and cannot provide medical advice or clearance for participation.
  • If you experience any pain, discomfort, dizziness, or other unusual symptoms during a class, stop immediately and inform the instructor.

Safety and Responsibility

  • You are responsible for your own safety during the classes. Pay attention to your body and your surroundings.
  • Follow the instructions provided by the instructor to the best of your ability. If you are unsure about any movement, please ask for clarification.
  • Wear comfortable clothing and appropriate footwear that allows for ease of movement.
  • Ensure the practice area is safe and free from hazards.
  • Please note that participation to class will be denied if you are:

o under the influence of alcohol, sleep-inducing drugs or narcotics

o very ill and with high fever

o feeling very weak or very tired

o experiencing severe mental disturbance or agitation, preventing me from following instructions

  • While Tai Chi and Qigong can offer various physical, mental, and emotional benefits, there are no guarantees of specific outcomes or results from participating in these classes.
  • Individual experiences and progress may vary.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Daciana Indolean shall not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, or expense (including medical expenses) that you may incur as a result of your participation in Tai Chi and Qigong classes, whether caused by negligence or otherwise. By participating, you agree to release and hold harmless Daciana Indolean, employees of Academy HQ, and any associated venues from any and all claims, liabilities, actions, damages, costs, or expenses of any kind arising out of or in any way connected with your participation in these classes.
