Purple Jade Holistics is the commercial name of Daciana Indolean, self-employed, who supplies services in the fields of
- traditional Chinese medicine: acupressure, reflexology, TuiNa massage, nutrition, crystals, essential oils and other ancillary therapies connected to TCM
- astrology consultancy and birth chart analysis
- YiJing divination and oracle cards
- life coaching by means of astrology, birth charts, YiJing and my expertise as a PhD in adult education
- Tai Chi, Qigong and Mindfulness
These are done in the form of physical treatments, online consultations, online courses and tutorials, books and downloadable educational materials.
Purple Jade Holistics is registered for tax purposes with the HMRC, the financial governing body of the United Kingdom, where Daciana Indolean operates.
What personal data I collect and why I collect it
Contact forms
If you send Purple Jade Holistics a message via the Contact page I will use any data I receive to help aid the query, comment or complaint you may have.
Purchasing services
Purple Jade Holistics uses third parties for processing payments for digital goods, tutorials, online courses and physical goods, namely PayPal and Royal Mail. Both are third party agents and they collect their relevant information according to their intended purpose.
The TCM sessions collect personal information such as age, preferred means of contact, emergency contact, as well as personal information related to medical history and signs and symptoms of the main complaint. These are necessary for me to provide accurate diagnosis and offer treatment and lifestyle recommendations. The digital versions are stored in my work computer which is password protected and has virus and malware protection up to date. The paper versions are stored in a fireproof safety box locked with key. The medical files are kept 5 years and then destroyed if the client has stopped coming for treatments.
The Tai Chi and Qigong sessions collect personal information such as age, preferred means of contact, emergency contact, as well as minimal personal information regarding the health state of the participant, so that they are not at risk of injuring themselves or make their health conditions worse by participating in the classes. They are taken on paper and they are stored in a fireproof safety box locked with key. They are kept 5 years and then destroyed if the participant has stopped coming to the classes.
In the case of astrology consultancy, birth chart analyses and divination sessions I will collect information about your birth circumstances such as day, month, year, hour and place of birth, as well as any other personal information relevant to the specific sessions. They are stored in the software system I use for the readings, namely www.chinesemetasoft.com, a third party agent, with which I have a licence contract and a password protected account. From my part, the information is solely used to provide the services of astrology consultancy and birth chart analyses. The information can be deleted at any moment should the client demands this or it will be automatically deleted by me after three months from the date of the reading in the case of clients who requested single readings with no follow ups.
The YiJing and oracle card divination is performed by hand, using the classical method of the coins and physical oracle cards.
All online sessions are delivered via Zoom, a third party agent, and all the recordings of the sessions are downloaded and kept in my work computer, which is password protected and the virus and malware protection is up to date. The recordings are kept for reference purposes and as proof of service provided. They are sent to the client via WeTransfer, a third party agent, which deletes the files automatically 3 days after being uploaded and sent to the client.
All information is treated as confidential and will not be shared with any third party apart from them mentioned above and which are necessary to provide my services to you.
Online courses and tutorials
Purple Jade Holistics uses specialised plugins to create the online courses. These plugins require creating and logging into an account using your name, age and email address. All other personal data are related to the form of payment chosen to purchase the courses (see Purchases).
Newsletters and other subscriptions
Should you decide to subscribe to my newsletter or other subscription programmes, those specific plugins will collect specific information such as name and email address. These are collected by the plugins to that I can reach you with news and other information.
Handling this data also allows me to send you important account or service information, respond to your queries or provide customer support, but also to verify your identity.
Media
No media can be downloaded from the website without the permission of Daciana Indolean.
Cookies
When you create an account and you log into the website, I will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close the browser.
When you log in, several cookies are set to save your login information. These cookies last for two days. If you select “Remember me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you choose to log out of your account, the login cookies are removed.

WordPress does not collect any analytics data. However, the webhosting account collects some anonymous analytics data, as well as some of the plugins that provide analytics services.
Who I share your data with
Purple Jade Holistics uses All in One SEO and WP Statistics to monitor the website’s uptime, usage and search engine optimisation SEO. These help me offer better products and services and identify where people are coming from on the website. None of the data is sent or shared with any other third party.

How long we retain your data
If you choose to register on the website and create an account, the information provided in the user profile will be stored. The users can see, edit or delete the personal information at any time, except they cannot change their username. The website administrator can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
When you create an account on this website you can contact the administrator and request that any personal data to be deleted permanently. This does not include any data that I have to retain for administrative, legal or security purposes.
